Pressing toward the Mark . . .

Still waiting,…still waiting

We are still waiting for a Ukrainian guy to get his registration renewed so that we can drive a car and get out of the house.  We can take the small bus called the marshrootka but it is always packed with stinky people.  Heaven help me.  Also, if we buy something it can’t be too heavy or too much because we would have to bring it back on the bus. We also want to go to the ministry that is in Alushta and see how it is doing.  Every day we pray and talk to one another about the possibilities.  I am too anxious to get settled somewhere.  I really want God to use me to be a blessing to other ladies in this region.  At this point I don’t see how I can be used.  I really have to trust God with everything in the future.  I can barely see my foot taking the next step.  God is good though, he gives us just what we need when we need it.  Thanks to you who have blogged me, it’s great to hear from you.

Life in Ukraine

Hey everyone, I’m finally in Crimea, Ukraine. All the luggage got here too. It was comfortable except towards the end. I was tired and ready to get to our destination. We have had time to unpack and get somewhat settled in. It is 8 hours ahead here, so if it is noon there it is 8 pm. here. I had a chance to go to the store after being inside for a few days. There are 2 couples who have been taking us places, but we are trying to get the papers written up so that David can drive the Kings’ car. We’ve been keeping in touch with Al, and they are thinking now that it will be March before they will come. We have already had a few people over for either dinner or just tea. It is nice being able to hear and undrstand Russain again. We have also talked to Vetalik, in Belarus. He wants to come and visit us. Well there have been times that I’ve been homesick for family and friends, but I keep telling myself that God has me here for a reason. Well hope to see some of you soon, love Anita
