About David

David can best be described as a diversified individual. Raised in a Christian home, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the tender age of seven. After graduating High School and giving College a try, he followed in the footsteps of his father and became a pipefitter. As a union pipefitter for thirty years, he has done everything in his trade from low temp refrigeration work to orbital welding. He carries a universal CFC certification (refrigerants) and is a certified SMAW (stick) welder and a certified GTAW (tig) welder. He also carries an orbital welding certification. His personal hobbies reflect his curiosity and pursuit of knowledge. In sports, he is an avid hunter and fisherman. In the 80’s, he could usually be found in his bass boat on either Truman Lake or Lake of the Ozarks. The nineties led him to interests in combat handgun competitions, gunsmithing, and reloading.

When he turned 40 in 1999, he took up Taekwondo with his wife and children. After several years of hard work, sore muscles, and bruises, he (and wife and kids) earned their first degree black belts. David bought his first guitar when he was thirteen and taught himself to play.

He has developed quite a collection of guitars and amps and loves to build his own point-to-point tube amps and tinker with guitars and amps.

His real passion is playing guitar, though. Another hobby is sausage making and curing meats, as well as smoking and barbecue - Kansas City style! Upon moving to the former Soviet Union in 2004, David has achieved a relative degree of proficiency in the Russian language. He has also received a Bachelor degree and a Masters degree in Theology from Antioch Baptist Seminary, and is currently working on his doctorate.

David currently works as a full time missionary and is living in the Crimea region of Ukraine.
